Mahsa ZandiBiography
Mahsa Zandi, an artist born in Iran, integrated her lifelong passion for art into her life, sparking her creative path. Despite starting in Engineering, she relocated to Canada in 2016 for a fresh artistic chapter.
In October 2018, Mahsa's journey led her to the Barcelona Academy of Art. Since then, she has devoted herself on developing her skills, practicing the methods of old masters she had long admired.
One of Mahsa's most cherished aspects of being an artist lies in her exploration of diverse techniques. She takes immense joy in delving into the masterpieces of acclaimed artists, allowing their wisdom and expertise to guide her creative process. Plein air and figurative painting have emerged as personal favorites.
Her vision is sharing her distinctive perspective and artistic voice with a wider audience, fostering connections and dialogues through her creations. Mahsa Zandi aims to become a contemporary realist painter, making a lasting impact on artistic expression.

Last December, my friend’s dog passed away and I wanted to get her a gift for Christmas, despite the time constraint. Mahsa was able to help, quickly finishing an amazing portrait of him and getting it to me during the busy holiday season. We were all blown away at how realistic it looked!
